STAY AWARE, STAY SAFE!

Safety has come a long way over the years, yet there is still a long way to go…

AS PARTNERS IN SAFETY, Great Lakes will be distributing black ribbons to clients we have scheduled visits for this week to commemorate Workers Memorial Day, 4/28/15.

Since 1970, workplace fatality rates have been reduced by more than 66% and occupational injury and illness rates have declined by 67%. At the same time, U.S. employment has almost doubled.  We encourage you to recognize the importance of your employees’ safety by offering a moment of silence or other activity you deem appropriate to remember those who have suffered and died on the job and to renew our efforts for safety in our own workplaces.
